1. Who we are

paxromanaart.com is operated by Amstrup Commerce, a business registered in Denmark under CVR 37813478 (VAT DK37813478), Mågevej 19, 3600 Frederikssund, Denmark ("Pax Romana Art", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support@paxromanaart.com.

2. These terms

These terms apply when you use our website and when you buy from us. By placing an order, you accept these terms together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. Please read them before you order.

3. Our products

Every piece is made to order. We show each piece as accurately as we can, but colors can look slightly different on your screen than on the finished print, and natural wood frames vary in grain and tone. Sizes are stated on each product page and may vary very slightly.

4. About the history

Our artworks are artistic interpretations of history, myth and the Roman world. They are not documentary records. Our descriptions are written with care and based on ancient and modern sources. Where a story is legend, tradition or disputed among historians, we say so.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars unless your local currency is displayed. The total you pay, including any taxes or duties that apply to your order, is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we find a clear pricing error, we will contact you before your order is produced and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

6. Orders

After you place an order, we send you an order confirmation by email. Your contract with us is formed when we send that confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if we suspect fraud, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot produce or deliver it.

7. Shipping and delivery

Delivery is described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the piece is delivered to you.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

9. Our designs and content

The artwork images, designs, text, logo and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to us. Buying a piece gives you ownership of that physical print. It does not give you any right to copy, reproduce, share as a file, or sell the design or the images on this website.

10. Reviews

We publish genuine reviews from customers and do not edit reviews to change their meaning. If you submit a review, photo or comment, you confirm it reflects your honest experience, and you allow us to show it on our website and social channels with your first name and last initial.

11. Using our website

Please do not misuse our website. That includes trying to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how it works, copying content in bulk, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

13. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts where the law allows.

If you have a complaint, please email us first and we will do our best to put it right. Customers in the EU can also contact the Danish complaints body for consumer disputes, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark (naevneneshus.dk).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
